STARS LINE UP FOR MARCH POKER SHOWDOWN

Erick Lindgren is a poker player born in 1976 in California, of Swedish origins, which has two titles at the World Poker Tour, one bracelet at the WSOP and he also managed to amass over $7 million in winnings at live tournaments so far.

The first big competition he managed to win was in 2002, at the Bellagio casino. The next one was during the World Poker Tour, after ten months. After another half year, he also won the Million III WPT cruise, which had a prize of $1 million.

In 2005 he took the second place at the Circuit Event of World Series, the 5th place at the LA Poker Classic WPT, plus the first place at the PPT tournament.

One year later he reached the final table at the WPT once again, taking the 3rd place.

In 2006 he also won the first place and the $0.6 million prize, at the Poker Pro Showdown from FullTiltPoker.net, defeating poker players like Phil Ivey, Erik Seidel, Mike Matusow, Chris Ferguson, John Juanda and Clonie Gowen.

In 2007, Erik won the Aussie Millions tournament, defeating 17 players in an event with a $100k buy-in.

Lindgren also wrote a poker book, which deals with how he approaches poker tournaments and the strategy that can be used there. He used his experience at the WPT in the book, to demonstrate his points.

As for his online career, he is a Team Full Tilt member. He hosted an event in the series offered by Full Tilt and he managed to win it, taking home $291k in the process. There were another 5,600 players in that tournament and a $1.65 million prize pool. He is the first player from Full Tilt Poker to manage to win the tournament which they hosted.

Lindgren married in 2011 Erica Schoenberg, another professional poker player.
